Can convincing through suggesting include all possible preferences of a given interest K ? Search engines, e-commerce platforms, messaging to name a few, employ it. By 2030, millennials still in the formative period of evolving preferences, habits and currently commanding $1.3 trillion in direct annual spending (BCG, January 2014) will surpass baby boomers in numbers by a factor of 1.4.
So when and how will suggestive argumentation begin expressing, beyond function - more partiality, contrast, contiguity and similarity without compromising accuracy - almost too commodified?
Perhaps currently, the way we retrieve information is modeled by subjunctive dependences (i.e whatever is wanted now, and that goal state's dependences), be it in the form of reflexivity, evidence (words/nlp, documentation, interaction) or referents (narrative? video? specific 'ethos'?).
In turn, if "Knowledge doesn't change behavior" (Heath. C, Heath. D, Making the Switch) persuasion, as a state variable condition, merits scrutiny.
